This set of samples shows some of the work John has created for the commercial sector. All of these are intended for reproduction within magazines, company brochures, posters or in some other form, including two book cover designs.

John produced the calligraphy for these and also created all of the supporting imagery behind them. In the case of the Victorian style 'samplers', John designed a set of twenty different images, each with it's own saying or quote, plus illustrations. These were sold with or without frames and retailed in shops all over the United Kingdom. In addition, John wrote and illustrated a version of the famous 'Desiderata' (not shown here) for the same client, which went on to sell over 50,000.
